Stop Enabling Abusive Women

I know that this is “just a skit” but it gave me flashbacks of crazy women in my life who have pissed all over my attempts to make them happy, by nitpicking and screaming at me over the littlest thing.

Like my ex who chose to start screaming at me for using hand sanitizer instead of soap and water to clean my hands, and then when I do use soap and water, she still screams at me “because I’m only doing it because she told me to, not because I know the ‘real’ reason to do it”. And by the way, she started mistreating me shortly after I spent $300 on a very sentimental gift for her (i.e. really rare comics that her crazy jeebus freak step mom burned when she was a kid).

I gave her a second chance, but I told her that I was going to break up with her if she kept doing this type of stuff to me. Especially after I bought her those $300 comics.

So what does she do? She ‘apologizes’ but then starts screaming at me again later on that day — but not because I had used hand sanitizer again. I WAS in fact doing what she wanted: washing my hands with soap and water. But she still felt it necessary to scream at me just a few hours after she ‘apologized’ the first time she did it, because now I was ‘just doing it because she told me to, not because I ‘truly understand’ why I should use soap and water instead’.

And then she plays the victim when I dump her.
